RMCGA Performer Scholarship Fund

To celebrate color guard excellence in the RMCGA circuit, the scholarship fund assists young performers in overcoming the financial obstacles of their performance aspirations.
To apply, please send the following information to comarchingarts@gmail.com by end-of-day March 13th, 2025. Applicants are encouraged to showcase their strengths and creativity with their responses to the prompt (essay, speech, poem, artwork, show design, video, choreographed piece, etc.).
- First and Last Name
- What guard are you currently in?
- What is the name of the program you would like your scholarship directed to as a portion of your individual dues should you be selected as a winner? (This could be a scholastic/marching band, independent, or drum corps program.)
- What would receiving this scholarship mean for you and your future as a performer/educator? (500 word/ 5 minute limit)
This year, three separate winners will be selected:
- One $2,000 scholarship toward a drum corps
- One $1,000 scholarship toward an independent program
- One $500 scholarship toward a scholastic program
Performers can apply to multiple categories but will only receive one scholarship for the highest amount. Winners will be selected by an independent panel of three individuals with historical ties to the circuit and activity but without current affiliation. Winners will be announced at State Championships, with scholarship prizes being sent directly to the designated program as a portion of the performer’s individual dues.
