RMCGA Mourns the Passing of Jim Strong

Jim Strong, 60, passed away on February 19, in Lakewood, Colorado.Survived by his loving wife, Jeanne, children, Lia, Jaime, Jessie, Jason, Jay, and John, grandchildren, Thyssen, Aidan, and Jaycee, he was the 6th of 7 children, born to Dick and Mary Ann Strong. Jim was the site manager for many, many years at the WGI World Championships. Every colorguard and drumline has benefited from Jim's extreme dedication to WGI and the family that it represents.  read more

2015 Evaluation Procedures

If your unit is required to be evaluated prior to competition, here are your options: 1)  Perform at the Evaluation Show on January 24 at Pomona High School. 2)  Perform as "Evaluation" at your first competition. 3)  Submit a video to the RMCGA 2015 Review Committee at least 1 week prior to your first competition. The "RMCGA 2015 Review Committee" has set up a Facebook page where videos can be uploaded. The deadline for submitting videos is 1 week prior to your first competition (ie. if you are attending the January 31 show your video should be submitted before January 24). Members of the review committee will review the videos and respond to groups as quickly as possible.
