Color Guard Instructor – Thornton High School Marching Band The Thornton High School Marching Band is looking for a Color Guard Instructor that can work with the band for the duration of the 2018 season. Here is what we are expecting from this instructor. Columbine High School Rebel Band from Littleton, CO is seeking a Color Guard Instructor for their upcoming summer/fall 2017 season. Preferable qualities include: choreography/design instruction, weapon instruction, DCI/WGI performance/teaching experience, and previous high school/independent teaching experience. At a negotiated schedule, term begin May through summer leading in to August band camp rehearsals and will end the week of Halloween. Pay is a monthly stipend position through Booster Board. The guard will rehearse in mini camps in June and July and everyday 2 weeks before the start of the school year in mid-August. Rehearsals will take place Monday and Wednesday after school with Saturday rehearsals mixed in between competitions.
